Welcome to the New GRIDBLOG!

By: Ahmar Abbas
The objective of the GRIDBLOG™ is to take advantage of the inherent speed and relative informality of the blogging genre of knowledge distribution and create an active space where thoughts and ideas – with a very obvious focus on grid computing and utility computing market – can be shared with the viewing public. It is our aim to provide up to date and provocative information that will build a strong relationship with the viewing public and make GRIDBLOG™ a requisite destination.

In forthcoming posts we will discuss some of the new features of the blog and various sponsorship opportunities.

Weblog Business Strategies Conference Wrap-up

By: Ahmar Abbas
The ClickZ Weblog Business Strategies Conference on Monday and Tuesday in Boston was to my mind a huge success. I certainly learned a lot about this new genre of communication. You can read all about it in minute by minute, word by word detail on expert confblogger Heath Row's Media Diet site. I promise you at the end you will feel like you actually attended this event.

Got a great lesson on RSS feeds from Timothy Appanel. So I promptly submitted The GRIDBLOG for syndication at Syndic8. The feed number is 29422. Spent a little bit of time with Tony Perkins and Michael Sly of Always-On Network. Tony as many of you may know founded Upside and Red Herring Magazines. Yes, I did ask Tony if Red Herring is coming back. And the answer is ... Read Full Article...
